Obituary

Phyllis Childers McDaniel, 59, of Ranger, died Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Gordon Hospital. She was born in Sylvester, GA on August 31, 1959, daughter of the late Robert L. and Marcelle Brooks Childers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dillon.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ricky D. McDaniel; her children, Sidney (Tuesdey) Lanier, Dewayne (Jess) Lanier, Michael Childers, Kimberly (Chris) Bratton, Derek (Samantha) McDaniel, and Christy Olive; her grandchildren, Dawson, Devon, Makayla, Ryan, Destinee, Jasmine, Jocelyn, Alyssa, Gavin, Lillie, Stella, Elijah, Isabella, Isaiah, Aaysr, and Heather; and her brothers, James Childers, Gary Childers, Larry (Darlene) Childers, and Ricky (Lynn) Childers.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Monday, April 29th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 30th at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Scott Taylor, Ryan Wheat, Devon Lanier, Dawson Lanier, Brandon Hall, and Gavin Ellis.
