Peggy Jean Welchel, 60, of Calhoun, died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at AdventHealth Gordon,
She was born in Rochester, NY on April 25, 1961, the daughter of the late Robert and Avena Lape Unger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandi King in August of 2021.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Welchel of Calhoun; son, Jeffrey Cameron; four sisters, Marlene Ward, Dawn (Chuck) Class, Crystal Barcomb, Susan (Rich) Sharfstein; brothers, Robert (Peggy) Unger, John (Michael) Unger, seven grandchildren along with other relatives.
It was her desire to be cremated with no formal service.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Peggy Jean Welchel of Calhoun.
