Peggy Craig

Mrs. Peggy Craig, age 77 of Resaca, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 31, 1932, daughter of the late Elmer and Irene Tatum Gourley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bennett Warner Craig, and a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ray Scates.

During her lifetime, Mrs. Craig had been employed by Calhoun Health Care.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Pamela Craig of Resaca; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Nancy Gourley of Calhoun; grandchildren, Joseph and Deserae Craig, and Amanda and Jerry Gillespie; and great-grandchildren, Demitrius Craig-Palmer, and Madison Fayth Craig. Two sisters-in-law, Susan Smith and her husband Bob, and Joey Broughton; a special friend, Ella Wooten, and other relatives also survive.

A time of remembering the life of Mrs. Peggy Craig will be held Wednesday, April 21 at 7:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
