Patty Leatherwood

Patty Lee Leatherwood, 66, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. She was born in Rome, Georgia, in January 18, 1959, to the late Pat and Margie Pendley.

Patty was employed by the Calhoun City School System for many years. Above all, Patty loved God. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love of life, and the way she held her family close to her heart. NiNi was her favorite name.

Patty is survived by her husband of 45 years, Greg Leatherwood; son and daughter-in-law, Chase and Nicole (Kajitani) Leatherwood; daughter and son-in-law, Chasity (Leatherwood) and Shaun Sutherland; grandchildren, Lola Mitchell, Moxi Sutherland, Penelope Leatherwood, and CJ Leatherwood. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Heritage Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM from Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Parrott officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jeff Harwell, Todd Holbert, Richie Wright, Matthew Parrott, Ryan Harwell, and Tony Leatherwood.
