Patricia Ann Hill

Patricia Ann Fortenberry Hill, 80, of Chatsworth, died Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026, at Erlanger Medical Center following surgery.

Patricia was born in Murray County, Georgia on July 10, 1945, the daughter of the late Keller Otis Fortenberry and Abath Elene Rutledge Fortenberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jim Cook Jr., and her brother, Bobby Fortenberry.

Surviving her are two daughters, Lavone Cook – Klutz and her husband Thomas, Tammy Cook – Kennedy and her husband Jay; four sisters, Dorothy Stephenson (Wayne), Linda Dale, Sandra Silvers, and Keyonna Fortenberry; one brother, Kelly Fortenberry; grandchildren, Brad Argo (Abby), James Lanier, Rebecca Hunter, Tara Cook, Josh Cook (Natasha), Stephanie Cook, Richard Cook, Brandon Goforth (Misty), David Goforth Jr (Olivia), Justin Goforth, Tonie Tudor and Tiffany Cruz; 23 great grandchildren, and 15 Great-great grandchildren, along with other relatives.

A service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 PM until the service hour.
