Pamela Tate Clark, 69, of Calhoun, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at Hamilton Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was born in Floyd County, Georgia, on August 18, 1954, the daughter of the late John and Geneva Clark Tate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Ann Brock Tate; niece, Rachael Tate Coontz; and nephew, Casey Tate. She was a member of the 1972 graduating class of Red Bud High School and at the time of her death she was employed by Pilgrim’s Pride (previously known as Gold Kist), and had been with the company for 51 years. She was a member of Echota Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Clark to whom she was married for 47 years; her daughter, Ashley Clark Dobson and her husband, Bryan; sister and brother-in-law, Camilla and Michael Langston; Brothers and sister-in-law, Calvin Tate and Randy and Sandy Tate; grandchildren, Makaela Dobson Ranels (Noah), Azlyn Jackson, Gavyn Jackson, Logan Dobson, Kyndall Dobson; great-granddaughter, Ridley Ranels; and, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM from Echota Baptist Church, with Pastor Lucas Butler officiating. Music will be arranged by Amy Phillips. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery, with Rev. Mitch Phillips conducting the graveside service. Pallbearers serving will include Michael Langston, Bryan Dobson, Corey Tate, Darrin Langston, Eric Tate, Bill Johnson, and Gavyn Jackson.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11th, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
