Ollie Jo Marcelino

Ollie Jo Marcelino, 80, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on November 15, 1943, to the late James and Maggie Barnes Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry Marcelino; brother, Pat Cook; sister, Patti Ford; stepchildren, Joseph, Richard, and Buddy Marcelino, Sarah Mays; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jose and Pennie Marcelino; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Betty Deriso; cousin, Kenny Sheriff.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Flora Witten; sister, Agnes Smith; stepson and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Suzy Mays; stepdaughter, Inez Ruzin; grandchildren, Derek Witten, Michael and Astrid Witten; great-grandchildren, Myles Witten, Madeline Witten; special friend, Kathy Jarvis; nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Denson officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Michael Witten, Derek Witten, Nathan Smith, Robert Smith, Keith Stokes, and Chris Jordan. Rody Whitener will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in her memory to the Hayes Cemetery Fund.
