Obituary

Mrs. Norma D. Davis Rickett, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at her residence following a brief period of declining health.
Mrs. Rickett was born in Gordon County on June 23, 1936, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Willie Harris Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Burch (J.B.) Rickett; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Maurice (Thelma) Davis, Harbin Davis, and Howard (Louise) Davis. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Rickett Garland and her husband Clyde of Calhoun; two sons, Barry Rickett and his wife Tina of Calhoun, Mitchell Rickett and his wife Donna of Calhoun; grandchildren, Mindy Greeson, Allen Garland, Kevin Garland, Kenneth Rickett, Kayla Rickett; eleven great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Charlotte Davis; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Norma D. Davis Rickett will be conducted Sunday, November 20th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery near Sonoraville. Pallbearers include Allen Garland, Kevin Garland, Randy Greeson, John Purser and Joseph Chadwick.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20th between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:00 at the funeral home.
