Obituary

Momoe Matsuo Burroughs, 93, of Calhoun, Georgia died Sunday, December 5, 2021, after a year of declining health. She was born on June 13, 1928, in Tokyo, Japan to the late Keitaro Matsuo and Toshiko Yamamoto.
Momoe was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. She was a retired executive secretary at Astro Dye.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Burroughs; daughter, Susan Burroughs Driskell; grandchildren, Ryan Driskell (Misty), Ashleigh Driskell, Grant Driskell, Tessa Driskell (Jason Byers), Kimberly Burroughs, Ramsey Burroughs, Brannon Burroughs, and Kristen Burroughs; great grandson, Gage Austin Driskell.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Belmont Baptist Church.
The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm from Belmont Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Williams, Rev. Susan B Driskell, and Arthur Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.
