Mitzi Gayla (Young) Woods

Mitzi Gayla (Young) Woods, 72, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born on September 3, 1953, to the late James Arnold Young and Geraldine LaFavers Young.

Mitzi is survived by her sons, Steven (Jodie) Stanley, Allen (Kristin) Stanley, and Brandon Woods; brothers, Michael Young, David Young, and Craig Young; and grandchildren, Gage Stanley, Braden Stanley, Preston Stanley, Ashlyn Stanley, and Kaiden Stanley.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Burial will be follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
