Mittie Lou Kelley

Mittie Lou "Praise" Kelley, 92, of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, after an extended period of declining health.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Meriweather County, Georgia, on May 10, 1931, the daughter of the late Roy Edward and Bertha Wilson Granger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Kelley, in 1982; two brothers, Roy Granger Jr. and Benny Parker, and two half-brothers, John Parker and David Parker.

Survivors include a niece, Susie (Darrell) Grizzle; great-nephew, Wesley Grizzle; great-niece, Tiffany (Israel) Smith; great-great-nieces and nephew, Nora Faye Smith, Crimsen Smith, and Jaxon Smith.; along with other relatives.

A service for Mrs. Kelley will be held on Tuesday, February 13th, at 3:00 PM from the graveside at Pleasant Grove (Ryo) Baptist Church.
