She graduated from CHS in 1949. She fell in love with Sonoraville’s Sonny Dutton, and married November 29, 1952 until his death in 2009. She is also preceded in death by a special aunt, Dixie Landress, other relatives and friends.
Mick is survived by her daughter, Terresa Dutton, of their home, and despite dementia she continued to call her lovingly by her lifelong nickname “Yoyo”. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
Mick loved her family, extended family, friends, and a lifetime of beloved furbabies. She enjoyed going out to eat with loved ones. In her earlier years she enjoyed singing, roller skating, playing piano, shooting, clogging, running, reading, sewing, growing plants, crossword puzzles, genealogy, attending plays, and sending cards for all occasions, often with specially written rhymes. She was an avid crocheter and knitter throughout her life. She was well known for her crocheted baby booties, worn by several generations of babies. She was a sweet loving wife and mother, a generous lady, and a blessing to all.
