Obituary

Mike E. Brooks, 68, of Rydal, Ga died on Monday, February 21, 2022 at his home. He was born July 9, 1953 in Smyrna, Ga to the late Calvin W. Brooks and Martha Opal Brooks.
Mike was a member of Fair Oaks United Methodist Church in Marietta, Ga. He graduated from F.T. Wills High School in 1972. After high school, Mike worked in construction for various companies including Circle Group from which he retired in 2010. His favorite hobbies were mowing grass and playing golf. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Lori Thomas (Jeff), Kristin Brooks Turner (Brandon), Khaz Brooks; brother, Al Brooks (Susan); sisters, Iris McKinney (Carl Scoggins), Carol Brooks Schibler (Rick); grandchildren, Jacob Thomas, Lindsey Thomas, Jayquan Santiago Brooks, Keyanna Turner; great-grandchild, Jaxon Thomas.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
