Michael Dale Young

Michael Dale Young, 60, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. He was born on May 24, 1965, to the late Dale and Shirley Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Young and sister, Robin Young.

Michael was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and a member of Plainville Masonic Lodge #364.

Michael is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Chris Campbell; grandchildren, Heaven Campbell and Matthew Campbell; great-grandchildren, Matthew Lizama, and Hayden Campbell. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Bramlett and Bro. Hershel Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery. Members of the Plainville Masonic Lodge will serve as pallbearers. Chris Campbell and Matthew Campbell will serve as honorary pallbearers.
