McKenley W. 'Mac' Freeman, 89, of Calhoun, Georgia died Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1931 in Bartow County to the late Lewis and Louise Shelton Freeman. He was preceded in death by his loving wife in 2001, Marie Freeman; son, Michael Freeman; siblings, Lonnie Freeman, Mary Eunice Freeman, Willard Freeman, Willie Mae, Eloise Dudley, Clyde Freeman, Anna Lee Freeman, and Nonnie Freeman.
He was a maintenance engineer when he retired at age 81 from Collins and Aikman. He was a member of Calhoun Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall.
He is survived by his children, Mona(Ron)Brewton, Terry Freeman, and Chris Freeman; sister, Louise Samples; 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, several friends and other relatives also survive.
The graveside service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM from Sonoraville Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Richard Hendricks officiating.
