Mary Virginia Myatt

Mrs. Mary Virginia Myatt, age 86 of Highway 41 South; Calhoun, Georgia; died Sunday, March 04, 2007 at Gordon Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Myatt was born on March 13, 1921 in Gordon County; daughter of the late John McNeil Patterson and Savannah Green Patterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Myatt; by a daughter, Judy Chitwood and a brother, Bobby Patterson. During her lifetime; Mrs. Myatt worked in the textile industry.

She is survived by sister-in-law; Mrs. Flonnie Patterson of Calhoun. Son-in-law; Larry Chitwood of Calhoun. One grandson; Corey V. Chitwood. One niece; Karen Goforth; two nephews; Kevin Patterson and Kenneth Patterson. Special friends; Mr. & Mrs. Sam Payne of Calhoun, Georgia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Virginia Myatt will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. George Adams officiating. Pallbearers serving will include; Sam Payne, Raymond Davis, Sonny Fox, Johnny Ferguson, Bill Neeley. Burial will follow the service in the Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday evening during the hours of 6 until 9 p.m.
