Mary Ruth Thomas

Mary Ruth Thomas, 83, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025. She was born on March 10, 1942, to the late Tommy and Daisy Orr Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Thomas; brother, Jim Tucker; and step-brother, Randy Coggins.

Mary Ruth was an agent for Liberty National Insurance for many years.

Mary Ruth is survived by her son, Kenneth Lynn Rogers; step-sisters, Judy Coggins and Debra Coggins; grandchildren, Dustin Lynn Rogers and Jonathan James Rogers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Daniel Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
