Mary Lou Goggin

Mrs. Mary Lou Goggin, age 64 of Calhoun, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at a Rome hospital following several weeks of declining health. She was born in St. Charles, Missouri on September 25, 1946, daughter of the late John Goggin and Dorothy Mitchell Baker Goggin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth McClard; a brother, John Goggin, Jr.; and a grandson, Christopher McClard.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Patricia McClard, William and Lisa McClard, and Glenn and Mary McClard, all of Cartersville; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Zachary Reed of Calhoun; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Jimmy Brown of Calhoun; and grandchildren, Cody, Brandon, Christy, and Kie McClard, and Rachel, Elijah, and Samuel Reed. Her best friend, Lorri Casey, and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Goggin's body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
