Mary Elizabeth (Stroup) Argyle, 93, of Calhoun died peacefully at home surrounded with loved ones.
Mrs. Argyle was born in Spring Place, Georgia on May 25, 1926, daughter of the late Earl and Susie Stroup. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Argyle in 1987, a son, Freddie Argyle and a granddaughter, Jennifer Parker. She was of the Christian faith and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Argyle Pack and her husband Lloyd of Calhoun; Debbie Argyle Morgan of Calhoun; grandchildren, Justin Morgan, Kim Hooper; great grandson, Elijah Morgan; sister, Annette Harrell; along with other relatives.
At Mrs. Argyles request, Her body was cremated and there will be no formal service.
