Mrs. Mary Ann Page, 100, of Calhoun went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday May 4, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Page was born in Whitfield County, Georgia on May 13, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Ella Walden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, U.S. Army (Ret) William Curtis Page; daughter, Mary Ann Hergel; sons, David Larry Page and his wife Barbara and William C. “Bill” Page Jr. and several siblings.
She was a military wife and mother who was very acquainted with her husband being transferred to various places including in the U.S in addition to his overseas deployment in Germany during his 32-year career in the U.S. Army. They settled their family in Calhoun, Georgia in 1956.
She was a very loving mother to her children and was a loving wife to her husband. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years and loved the Christian Hymns
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Page; son and daughter-in law, Roy Edward “Eddie” Page and his wife Pam; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; eight great, great-grandchildren along with other relatives.
A service to celebrate her life will be conducted Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Robertson officiating with burial to follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Sean Galloway, Keith Page, Spencer Page, Ross Page, Michael Hergel, Rat Daves, Mike Ammonett and Ryan Bishop.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 between the hours of 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 3:00 PM
