Mark Nathanial Holt, 54, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025. He was born in Cartersville, Georgia, on October 27, 1970, to the late Raymond Holt and Lavera Boring.
He was a hardworking and selfless man who lived a life of giving and love. He found true joy in caring for others and devoted himself to his family and friends and the community. His kind heart, generosity, and happy spirit touched everyone he met, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and smiles!
He is survived by his wife, Monica Holt; son, Morgan Holt; daughter, Madison Holt and her fiancé, Joshua Wright; brothers, Brian Boring and Justin Gavette, Chuck Holt, Darrin Holt, Kenneth Boring; step-father, Billy “Bo” Boring; mother-in-law and father-in law, Ronald and Judy Mauldin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Randolph; sister-in-law, Ashley Clark; brother-in-law, Kalem Clark; nieces and nephews, Hayden Randolph and Mallory Pitelka, Ashton Clark, Kora Anne Clark, Brittany Long, Brooke Holt, and Emily Reeves.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Sonoraville Baptist Church.
A memorial service will follow on Thursday at 7:00 PM from Sonoraville Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Salter and Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating.
