Margie Joyce Lee

Margie Joyce Rhoden Lee, 84, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026. She was born on February 21, 1942, to the late Curtis Rhoden and Bessie Mae Rhoden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Donald Richard Lee; son, Donald Raymond “Ray” Lee; brothers, James Hubert Rhoden, Raymond Morgan Rhoden; sisters, JoAnn Rhoden and Sylvia Rhoden; grandchild, Caroline Lee; and nephew, Neal Rhoden.

Margie dedicated her life working in ministries alongside her husband, Rev. Donald Richard Lee. She was a member of GraceLife Church in Marietta, Georgia.

Margie is survived by her son, Richard Lee (Stephanie); daughter, Melissa “Pokey” Radford Brown (Kevin); sister, Bonnie Faye Rhoden; sister-in-law, Sarah Rhoden; special cousin who she considered like a sister, Kaye McPherson; special friend who she considered like a sister, Ruth Williams; grandchildren, Deanna Lee, Timothy Lee, Katie Lee, and Tony Brown; great-granddaughter, Olivia “Livie” Hudson; nieces, Cindy Rhoden and Melanie Saffo. Many cousins, in-laws, family, and friends also survive.
