Margaret Marie Ferguson

Mrs. Margaret Marie Ferguson, age 83 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born on November 13, 1926 in Shannon, Georgia, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Vernia Viola Cudd. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Ferguson, a son, Lonnie H. Harrison, and a sister and brother.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Cudd of Fairmount, and Marie Payne and Evonne Yancey, both of Calhoun; two sons, Dexter Harrison and Jerry Harrison, both of Calhoun; three sisters, Forestine Parm of Rossville, and Evelyn Sewell and Francis Stanley, both of Calhoun; and two brothers, Roy Lee Cudd of Adairsville, and James Cudd of Calhoun. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Marie Ferguson will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Delmar Ledford officiating. Pallbearers serving will be Shane Childers, Scotty Johnson, Kevin Pierce, Mitchell Ross, Jason Young, and Keith Young. Interment will follow the service in Gordon Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday morning from 9:00am until the funeral hour of 11:00am.
