Marcelle Young Haswell

Marcelle Young Haswell, 65, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. She was born in Jasper, Georgia, on January 16, 1961, to the late Doyle and Leoma Hambrick Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Quillian (Linda) Young, Randall Young, Hazel (Walter) Gravley, Suelane Redd, Martha Young, Elizabeth Young; brother-in-law, Jackie Parker.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Haswell; son, Joey Payne; daughter, Candy (Rodney) Payne Guiney ; step-daughter, Billie Jean; brothers, Tracy Young, MC (Connie) Young, EJ (Phyllis) Young; sister, Carlyon Parker; brother-in-law, Buddy Redd; grandchildren, Caylee Payne, Chelsey Parker, Dawson Guiney, Logan Payne; close family, Junior Payne and Charity Payne.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Kenny Green and Runey Redd officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
