Maggie Elizabeth Goss

Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Goss age 90 of Calhoun, died Monday October 30, 2006 at Calhoun Health Care. Mrs. Goss was born April 1, 1916 in Dunlap, TN. and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Goss was the daughter of the late Bill and Sallie Bunch Hughes. She was also preceded in death by her husband Farrell Toliber Goss, Three sons; Sonny, Frank, and Harry Goss. Two daughters; Geneva and Demple Goss. Three Brothers; John, Dexter, and Bob Hughes. Two sisters; Lee Turner and Mary Alice Garland.

Survivors include one son Larry T. Goss and his wife Peggy of Calhoun. 6 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Goss will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. from the Erwin Hill Church of God with Rev. Roy Smith and Rev. Rob Long officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers include Eddie Crider, Scotty Culberson, Glenn Ellison, John and Lamar Turner, Timmy Angle and Jerry Turner Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Jerry Turner, James, Will, and Johnny Hughes.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday between the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
