Mr. Mack Ronald Thomason, 80, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at AdventHealth Gordon following an extended period of declining health.
Mr. Thomason was born in Murray County, Georgia, the son of the late Allen and Arkie Crook Thomason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Greeson Thomason; brothers, L.B., Harry, Leonard, B.W., Calvin, and Doug Thomason; sisters, Bessie Silvers, Mary Faye Silvers, and Betty Cronan. Prior to retirement, he worked in the textile industry.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Thomason; one brother, Rev. Gene Thomason; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The funeral service for Mr. Mack Ronald Thomason will be conducted Sunday, November 27th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Hensley officiating. Music will be arranged by Sheila Hensley. Burial will follow in Hopewell cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Dylan Cronan, Mike Schiffli, Randy Parker, Richard Pack, Audie Lockhart, Donald Thomason, and Greg Black.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27th, from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM.
