Obituary

Lucy Rogers Dilbeck, 95, of Calhoun, Georgia died on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, after 3 years of declining health. She was born on September 19, 1926, in Gordon County to the late Reverend A.D. Rogers and Ossie Rogers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Stephens in 1950 and her second husband, Loyd Dilbeck in 2007; siblings, Willard Rogers, Arvil Rogers, Dewayne Rogers, Estalene Pulliam, Willie Mae Brown, and Glenn Rogers; great-grandson, Cameron East.
She is survived by her son, Travis Stephens (Pam); grandson, Todd Stephens (Donia), granddaughters, Julie Reece (Ray) and Shanna McEntire (Barry); great-grandchildren, Jordan Stephens (Samantha), Chandler Stephens, Taylor Stephens, Zoey Stephens, Christian East (Molly), Jessi Reece, Nolan Reece, Barrett McEntire, and Britton McEntire; great-great-grandchildren, McKenna Stephens, Matt Stephens, Kayson Stephens, and Baylee Stephens; brother, Carlton Lafaine Rogers; sisters, Alma Harbin and Margaret Duval.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Pearson and Rev. Ray Reece officiating. Music will be arranged by Angie Childers, Ronnie VanDyke and Ron, Faye and Jessie Bentley. Burial will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Todd Stephens, Ray Reece, Barry McEntire, Jordan Stephens, Taylor Stephens, Chandler Stephens, Nolan Reece, and Brandon Blaylock. Honorary pallbearer, Christian East (Deployed).
