Lindsay Darrell Sweatt

Lindsay “Pops” Darrell Sweatt, 67, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on November 29, 1955, to the late Charles Edward and Geneva Tye Sweatt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lyndon Sweatt; grandparents Chess and Nelly Tye.

He is survived by his loving wife, Daisy Sweatt; son, Steven (Meagan) Sweatt; daughter Ashley (Mico) Sweatt; brothers, Charles Sweatt of Portsmouth, Ohio, Tony Sweatt of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Joni Johnson of Harlan, Kentucky, Kathy Sweatt of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Emory Sweatt, Kamryn Richey, Maddox Sweatt, and Hendrix Sweatt.

When he was able, Lindsay enjoyed attending Riverview Baptist Church. His family would like to send a special thanks to all their friends and family for the thoughts, prayers, and kind words during this difficult time.

To honor his wishes, his body was cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
