Linda Darlene Prout Ross

Mrs. Linda Darlene Ross, 76, of Calhoun, Georgia. departed this life on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Mrs. Ross was born in Anderson, Indiana on August 6, 1948, the daughter of the late John Prout and Mary Martha Stanley Prout. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Lowell Ross, and a sister, Nancy Lewellen. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, Sunday dinners, and shopping.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Edwards, and her husband, Joe; son, Byron Ross Jr.; sisters, Debbie Dodd and Joyce Shaw; grandchildren, Leighanna Edwards, Nicholas Edwards, Chyanne Ross, Staci Ross, Hope Guyton, Cory Ross and Michael Ross; great-grandchildren, Kyison Kohut, Oliver Kohut, Bentley, Antwan and Bridgett; and her best friend, Donna Smith.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home and Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Loose Funeral Home in Anderson, Indiana.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 2:30 PM from East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, Indiana.
