Linda Bradford Dempsey

Linda Bradford Dempsey, 78, of the Plainview Community, Adairsville, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. She was born in Fairmount, Georgia on January 13, 1945, to the late Walter and Robbie Ballard Bradford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Lee and Betty Anderson.

Linda was a graduate of Fairmount High School, and prior to retirement she was a licensed Cosmetologist for many years, and was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Larry Dempsey; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Michelle Dempsey; and grandchildren, Taft Dempsey and Laila Dempsey; siblings, Carol Crumbley, Charles Bradford, Jimmy Bradford; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Strickland, Charlie Bass, Jimmy Bradford, Taft Dempsey, Douglas Dempsey, and Terry Mathis. Honorary pallbearers are the Sportsman’s Sunday School Class of Belmont Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
