Linda Lemons Dyer Battaglia

Linda Lemons Dyer Battaglia, 80, of Adairsville, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026. She was born in Gordon County, Georgia on January 28, 1946, to the late Harry Lemons and Willie Mae Poole Lemons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Dyer; her second husband, Joseph Battaglia; her sister, Doris Lemons Harris; and brothers, JT Poole, Lamar Poole, Clinton Poole, Randy Lemons, and Neil Lemons.

Linda is survived by her children, Angie (Carman) Caldwell, Kim (Comer) Turley, and Chris (Dorothy) Dyer; grandchildren, Camran Caldwell (Matthew Fenton), Mathis (Nicole) Turley, Morgan (Caleb) Chapman, Judson Turley, Conley Turley, Terrell (Adrien) Dyer, Christian (Rachel) Dyer, Cheyenne (Daniel) Campbell, and Wyatt Dyer; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Brynn, and Evie Ruth Dyer, Mason, Weston, and Ellie-Kate Campbell, Christopher and Carolina Dyer, Marilla Turley, and Kealy and Caleb Chapman, and one little Turley angel baby on the way. She is also survived by brothers, Henry (Sandra) Lemons and Jerry Lemons; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Linda loved her Atlanta Braves but nothing compared to the love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was the best mom, MiMi, and Grand MiMi and those were the titles she cherished most.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Jason Turley and Christian Dyer. Burial will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens in Rome, Georgia. Pallbearers are Camran Caldwell, Terrell Dyer, Christian Dyer, Wyatt Dyer, Judson Turley, Conley Turley. Honorary pallbearer Mathis Turley.
