Lillie Ruth "Chubby" Aylsworth, 94, of Kennesaw, Georgia died Thursday, April 1, 2021. She was born on May 8, 1926 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Joseph and Rosie Patterson Atkins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Allan Aylsworth Sr.; daughter, Wendi Long; grandson, Chris Alysworth; brother, Dilmers Atkins; sisters, Gladys Murphy, Mattie Lou Atkins, Sarah Atkins, and Francis McMahon.
She is survived by her children, Dwight Aylsworth, Allan Aylsworth Jr., and Pamela Aylsworth; sisters, Eva Tripplet, Hattie Powers, Betty Jo Etheridge, and Dorothy Barnwell;12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
