Obituary

Larry E. Burnett, 75, of Ranger, Georgia died Thursday, December 22, 2022, after several months of declining health. He was born on July 17, 1947, in Calhoun, Georgia to the late James Burnett and Pauline Shepherd Burnett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmom, Mamie Burnett; sister, Catherine Ponder; grandson, Jacob Morrow.
Larry worked for Pilgrims as a Field Technician and worked for 45 years in the poultry industry. He attended World Harvest Church.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Victoria Burnett; sons, Scott (Carla) Burnett, Jason (Victoria) Burnett, and Joey Burnett; daughter, Misty Burnett; brother, Mike (Barbara) Burnett; sisters, Linda (Larry) Crump and Donna (Carl) England; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 26, 2022, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at World Harvest Church. The service will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm with Pastor Rusty Haradon, Elder Lamar Curtis, and Elder Ron Ingle officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are, Sam McKenzie, Quinton Duke, William Titus, Jason Burnett Jr., J.C. Wade, and Josh Nix. Honorary pallbearers, Josh England, Carl England Jr, and Jamison England.
