Kim Alred

Kim Alred, 56, of Plainville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. She was born in Frankford, Ohio, on October 16, 1969, to the late Lavern and Donna Nichols. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Velon.

She is survived by her loving husband, Stacy Alred; sons and daughter-in-law, Kaleb and Madisyn Harris, Garrett Alred; daughters, Karigan Kilgore and Kaylin Alred; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Mike Reece; brother-in-law, Mike Velon; grandchildren, Ava Kilgore and Makayla Harris.

Kim was known as a crafty old bird. She had a witty sense of humor, a loyal personality, and an unmatched stubbornness. Her grandchildren were her greatest gifts.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow on Sunday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating.
