Obituary

Kenneth L. McRee, 71, of Resaca, Georgia died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Advent Health Gordon. He was born on January 31, 1951, in Gordon County to the late Jim and Mable Hall McRee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Annie McRee and Dan and Hester Hall; brothers, Vernon McRee and Larry McRee Sr.; nephews, Tony Mcree and Erskin McRee.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley McRee; Son, Jimmy McRee; grandson, Ethan McRee; sisters, Faye Land and Joyce Green; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda Johns and her husband Randy and Patsy Phillips and her husband Richard; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Fidelle Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Ricky Land, Lamar Ball, Jamey Tatum, Mike Nixon, Robert Simmons, and Larry Jerome 'Spud' McRee. Honorary pallbearers, Mike Land, Tony Johnson, and Ronnie McRee.
