Keegan Fortenberry

Keegan Britten Journey Fortenberry, 16, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was born to Matthew Phillips and April Fortenberry on July 9, 2007.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Alexander Khale Fortenberry (Nathasha Bestrom); godbrothers, Caleb Sullivan and Ryan McClain; special nephew, Declan Sullivan; niece, Penelope Sullivan; grandparents, Sam and Joan Fortenberry, Ernestine Phillips, Matthew Simpson; uncles, Eric Fortenberry and Shane Boone; and aunt, Neva Phillips. He is also survived by cousins and special friends who will serve as honorary pallbearers, Holland West, Javen Wells, Isaac Tibbs, Jose Maldonado, and Alex Allison. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
