Kayanne Dodd Barrineau, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Kayanne was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Rev Jack Dodd and Jacqueline Smith Dodd, her brothers, Nevin Dodd, Terry Dodd and Danny Dodd. Her sisters, Bill Prater and Muriel Smith.

Kayanne is survived by Britt Barrineau, her devoted husband who stood by her side in sickness and in health for 18 years, sharing a life of love and companionship. Her two beautiful children, Dondra Jordon and Ritchie Balliew. Son-in-law, Joey Jordon and Ritchie’s significant other, Missy Gunn. Sister, Cindy Klingensmith and her husband Jim. Sister-in-Law, Deborah Dodd. The joys of her life, her grandchildren, Jackson Jordon and his wife Melissa, Allyson Balliew, Nicole Balliew, Brittney Benson and Kaydee Robbins and her husband Jordan and her Bonus Granddaughter Ellie Bell. Her great-grandchildren Graylynn Silvers, Liliana McNabb, Camilla Chance, Peyton Lorren along with her 5th great-grandchild a granddaughter due on November 25, 2025. Other special people in her life, her very special cousin, Bobby Dodd, Danielle Lanterman, Patricia Huskins, John Ficken, Mick Rogers, Arteille Nation. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Kayanne was a proud graduate of Red Bud High School. She was a hard worker, and was very proud of her accomplishments as an Operator for Southern Bell, Loan Officer at Calhoun First National Bank, Sales Consultant for A-1 Mobile Homes, Office Manager for Owasa Family Medicine, Supervisor for the Battered Women's Shelter, Job Developer for Legacy Link, she was on the Board of Directors for the Commission and Youth – Child Abuse Counsel of Gordon County and also served as Secretary for the Board.

Kayanne had a passion and an incredible talent for interior decorating and received a degree in Interior Design from Dalton College. She could take an old shack and turn it into a mansion. Kayanne was loving, loyal, caring, and generous with a beautiful sparkle in her eyes. She loved buying and sending cards to friends and family for birthdays or just to brighten up their days. She loved reading, cooking, slumber parties, and watching good movies. Her favorite movie was Mama Mia’ and all dog movies, especially the movie Hachi. She loved to travel and had the habit of striking off at the spur of the moment with Britt. He always had bags packed ready to go when she said, “Let’s go Britt”. Her favorite places to travel were the beach, the mountains, and Callaway Gardens. She loved spending time with her friends and family. But her greatest joy was being called Nonnie and spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and all the love, laughter and precious memories they brought into her life.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers at Gordon Health & Rehabilitation and especially the nurses and caregivers with Affinis Hospice.

To honor Kayanne’s wishes, her body was cremated, and a graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
