Katherine Jane Cundiff

Katherine Jane Cundiff, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026. She was born in Coal Grove, Ohio, on May 25, 1940, to the late Walter Chapman and Juanita Haynes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Chapman and Frank Haynes; sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Charlie Roach.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Cara) Cundiff, Roger (Leah) Cundiff, Jason Cundiff; sister-in-law, Lynda Chapman; grandchildren, Tyler Cundiff, Ethan Cundiff, Rory Cundiff.

Katie grew up in Coal Grove, Ohio, and married Cal when she was 21 years old in Cincinnati. Katie was a homemaker most of her life and she was proud of her 3 sons and her grandchildren. Katie was often referred to as sweet by her friends and had a big heart. She loved to shop and had a bit of a sweet tooth. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church here in Calhoun.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. After the burial, everyone is invited to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Fellowship Hall for refreshments and fellowship.
