Mrs. Judy Ann Bynum Hancock, 67, of Adairsville, Georgia passed away July 13, 2023 at her residence following an extended period of declining health.

Judy was born in Floyd County, Georgia October 8, 1955, the daughter of the late Jonny Doyle Bynum and Barbara Bohannon Bynum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ed Hancock; a brother, Doyle Bynum and a sister, Paula Bynum Bearden.

Judy was a sweet soul, she would light up a room upon entrance, she had a great sense of humor, her favorite food was crab legs, loved to visit Florida, an avid game show viewer, and loved her family fiercely.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Watson Bradford and her husband Nick; son, Danny Watson and his wife Tina; grandchildren, Ethan Watson, Cadee Watson, Daniel Watson, and Noah Watson; sister, Nancy Bynum DeFoor and her husband Jere; brother, David Bynum and his wife Bobbie; nieces, Ashley DeFoor, Chasity Conrad and Autumn Richie; nephews, Matthew, Cody and Jonathan Bynum; great nieces, Hayden, Teagan Crider; great nephews, James Crider and Neyland Bynum; very close friends, Linda Welch, Crystal Wolfe and Joey Marycz.

A service to celebrate Judy’s life will be conducted Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev(s). Steve Burns and Cody Bynum.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.

At her request, cremation will follow the service, and in lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the family to assist with final expenses.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Judy Ann Bynum Hancock.
