Judy Gayle Boyd

Judy Gayle Boyd, 69, of Resaca, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 9, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 30, 1957, to the late James Edward Farrell and Irene Cross Farrell.

Gayle was a member of New Town Baptist Church. She attended Red Bud School and was employed by K-Mart for nine years in Customer Service. In her free time, she loved to personalize cross stitch and other crafts. Gayle was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her goal in life was to make people laugh and smile. She will be remembered for her big heart and always giving a helping hand.

Gayle is survived by her son, Anthony Robinson (Tina); daughter, Mika Caldwell (Chris); brother, Scott Wingate; sister, Tammy Tallent (Ray); grandchildren, Cody Robinson (Courtney), Skylar Robinson (Rhiannon), Georgia and Alaric Skene, Dawson Caldwell, and Tanner Robinson; great-grandchildren; Mateo Ybarra-Robinson, Aurora Ridley, Dakota Robinson, and Atticus Skene. She is also survived by a special aunt, Brenda Jenkins; special friend since first grade, Kathy Dodd; special friend of 44 years, Joanne Richardson; special friend who she met working at K-Mart, Linda Holcomb; and her entire K-Mart family.

To honor her wishes, Gayle's body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 17th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Monday between the hours of 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gayle's memory to assist with final expenses.
