Judy Gayle Boyd

Judy Gayle Boyd, 69, of Resaca went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 9, 2026 a brief illness.

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 30, 1957, the daughter of the late James Edward Farrell and Irene Cross Farrell. She was a Christian and a Baptist. She attended Red Bud School and was employed by K-Mart for nine years in Customer Service, and was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will always be remembered by her laughter, and making others laugh as well.

It was Gayle's request to be cremated. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 17th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday between the hours of 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gayle's memory to assist with final expenses.
