Obituary

Juanita (McEntyre) Ray, 92, of Calhoun, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 2, 2022, after 2 years of declining health. She was born on December 27, 1929, in Gordon County to the late Clyde Darris and Laura Bell Scott McEntyre. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Emory Parker and her second husband, Earl Ray; her son Michael Parker and her brother Bo McEntyre. Juanita was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Seabolt (Randy), Janet Hammond (Kenny), sons; Bruce Parker (Teresa M.), Brent Parker (Teresa K.), Brian Parker (Tina); granddaughters, Andrea Seabolt Skates, Brooke Thomas, Kendra Cooley (Lee), Lauren Parker, Tori Parker, Ashley Parker, Chelsea Jackson; grandsons, Caden Parker, Samuel Parker, Haden Hughes, and Gavin Parker; great-grandchildren, Gabe Johnson, Griffin Skates, Hagan Thomas, Trevin Thomas, Brennen Thomas, Kinley Cooley, Carter Cooley, and Rylan Gulledge; sister Hazel Moss; brothers Kenneth McEntyre (Brenda) and Gene McEntyre; special friends and caregivers Shannon Junkins. Also fur baby, Precious.
The family as that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Gordon County Camp of Gideons International or www.Gideons.org in Juanitas memory.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Heritage Baptist Church.
The funeral will follow the visitation at 4:00 pm from Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Parrot officiating. The music will be arranged by granddaughters Brooke Thomas and Chelsea Jackson. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Fain Cemetery with Chaplin Brett Ellington officiating. Pallbearers serving include Brian Parker, Caden Parker, Gabe Johnson, Griffin Skates, and Haden Hughes. The honorary pallbearer will be the grandson, Samuel Parker (deployed).
The family would like to thank Pruitt Hospice for their wonderful care and love over the past several months. We would also like to thank Heritage Baptist Church and the bereavement team for your love and prayers. Thank you, Brannon family and staff for always going above and beyond for our family.
