Obituary

Joseph Eugene Coots, Jr., 78, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on December 2, 1943, to the late Joseph Eugene and Helen Opal Coots Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Faye Coots; son and daughter-in-law Joseph Eugene and Kim Coots III; sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Jerry Wood; grandsons Chase Hunter Coots and Connor Saxon Coots; many nieces, nephews, family members, and loving care givers also survive.
Joe retired after a career spent as a sales manager with M & M Mars. He was a member of Crane Eater Community Church and a member of Gideons International. He was a loving family man but most notably a Mighty Man of God.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 4:00 PM from Crane Eater Community Church with Rev. Howard Strickland and Rev. Paul Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Crane Eater Cemetery.
