Jorge “Alex” Alexander Avitia, 36, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2023. He was born on May 29, 1986, to Alice C. Pettit Avitia and the late Jorge A. DelaCruz.
In addition to his mother, Alex is survived by his fiancé, Tiffany Fuller; sons, Conan Alejandro Avitia, Jorge Wayman Lamar Avitia Brookshire, and Daniel Russel Grant Avitia Brookshire; daughter, Destiny Fuller; brothers, Adam Avitia and Dwayne Avitia; grandchild, Stephanie Garner; and nephew, Daniel Pritchett.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
A memorial gathering will follow the visitation on Thursday at 3:30 PM at the Calhoun Recreation Department Pavilion, 601 S River St, Calhoun, GA 30701.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Jorge “Alex” Alexander Avitia.
