John Randall Sisson

Mr. John Randall Sisson, age 54 of Nicklesville Road; Resaca, Georgia; died Wednesday morning, January 10, 2007 at his residence following eight months of illness.

Mr. Sisson was born on January 07, 1953 in Gordon County; son of Richard Sisson and the late Maudie Clark Sisson. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents; Mr. & Mrs. Clay Sisson; Mr. & Mrs. Ira Clark and by a stepson; Randall Pass. During his lifetime; he was employed as a truck driver for Southeastern Company and was a member of Cove Fellowship Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

Mr. Sisson is survived by his wife, Betty Sisson to whom he was married for 35 years. One stepson; Gary Pass of Resaca, Georgia. One sister; Rita Sisson Newman and her husband, Tony of Sugar Valley, Georgia. One brother; Kenneth Sisson and his wife, Melba of Calhoun, Georgia. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. John Randall Sisson will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. George Nicholson and Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Singing will be arranged by Mrs. Betty Fair. Active pallbearers serving will include; Charles Allen, Lamar Green, Phillip Oliver, Leroy Peeler, Larry Holsomback and Danny Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be drivers of Southeastern Company. The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Thursday evening after 4:00 p.m. Online condolences made be made at www.maxbrannonandsons.com
