Obituary

John Marvin Medlin, 69, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born in Clinton, South Carolina on March 10, 1953, to the late Joe and Lillian Medlin.
John was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
John is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Sullivan; son, Billy Joe Medlin of Clinton, South Carolina; daughters, Jennifer Steele of Greenwood, South Carolina, Robin Hayes (Brandon), Pamela Morgan (James), Kimberly Cooper (David), Melissa Sullivan; brothers, Ernest Medlin of Clinton, South Carolina, Wallace Medlin of Joanna, South Carolina; and sister, Marie Patterson of Clinton, South Carolina. 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow the visitation on Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny West officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving will include, Brandon Sullivan, Justin Sullivan, Joshua Tucker, James Zeigler, David Cooper, and Tristian McBrayer.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of John Marvin Medlin.
