Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Lee Tomlinson, 69, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 after several months of declining health.
Jimmy was born in Gordon County on August 28, 1951, son of the late Jack and Annie Ruth Fite Tomlinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law; Janice and Byron Meadows. He attended Red Bud School and at the age of fifteen, he entered the workforce as a pipefitter and worked up until health issues forced his retirement.
Survivors include his daughter; Leann (Josh) Bone and son; Brandon Tomlinson, brothers; Gary (Charlotte) Tomlinson and Frankie (Terresa) Tomlinson, grandchildren; Asa and Bryn Bone and Brayden and Jaxon Tomlinson, the mother of his children; Melissa Cochran Tomlinson along with other relatives who survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Tomlinson will be conducted Thursday, December 3, 2020, at 3:00 PM from the graveside at Fain Cemetery.
