Jerry Hyde

Mr. Jerry Hyde, age 61 of Calhoun died Tuesday morning January 9, 2007 at his residence following several months of declining health. Mr. Hyde was born May 3, 1945 and was the son of the late Candler and Lindie Jones Hyde. He was also preceded in death by a son Thomas Hyde JR. Mr. Hyde has been a resident of Calhoun for 17 years.

Mr. Hyde is survived by two sons; Philip Hyde and Lee Shipman of Calhoun. Two daughters; Trina Hyde McClure of Ellijay and Linda Williams of Tennessee. Five sisters; Alice Cape of Royston S.C., Louise Gilbert of Alpharetta, Gladys Williams, Vera Williams, and Brenda McGuiness, all of Cummings GA. Several grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Hyde will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons funeral home with Rev. Jerry Gaddis officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain cemetery. Pallbearers include Lee Shipman, Philip Hyde, Mitch Shipman, James Shipman, David Boswell, and Scott Carter. The family will receive friends Tuesday after 3:00 p.m.
