Jennie Ruth Hollifield

Mrs. Jennie Ruth Hollifield, age 79 of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Redmond Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Hollifield was born on October 11, 1932 in Murray County, GA, daughter of the late Jonnie and Ethel Tucker Bright.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Couoh and her husband Fabio of Calhoun; a son, Gary Howell of Plainville; and five grandchildren, Garett Howell, Blake Howell, Jaclinn Howell, Penny Jones and Kimberly Hefner. Eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Ruth Hollifield will be conducted Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Tate officiating.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Friday at 9:00 am until the funeral hour of 11:00 am
