Obituary

Jeffrey Grady Lingerfelt, 54, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. He was born on May 23, 1967, to Anna Belle Arp Lingerfelt and the late Grady Lee Lingerfelt.
Jeffrey was a faithful employee of Shaw industries for more than 30 years. He loved riding his motorcycle, his grandbabies, basketball, and his family. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Karen Lingerfelt; sons and daughters-in-law, Cody and Evan lingerfelt, Tyler and Emily Lingerfelt,, and Jordan Lingerfelt; daughter, Heather Defoor; brother, Ronnie Lingerfelt; grandchildren, Annslee DeFoor, Avarie DeFoor, Paxton DeFoor, Grayson Lingerfelt, Elliana Lingerfelt, Liam Lingerfelt, Micah Lingerfelt, and Ezra Lingerfelt; several friends and other family members also survive.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 18, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Philadelphia Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM from Philadelphia Baptist Church with Pastor Tim McCulley and Rev. Steve Kirkpatrick officiating. A private family graveside service at Fain cemetery with Pastor Kenny Rogers officiating will follow the service.
