Obituary

J.B. Rickett, 86, of Calhoun, Ga died Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was born on June 19, 1934 to the late John and Sudie Rickett. Along with his parents, J.B. was preceded in death by his sisters, Evanell Wilson and Ruth Stansill. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
J.B. is survived by his wife of more than sixty-four years, Norma Davis Rickett; his children, Teresa (Clyde) Garland, Mitchell (Donna) Rickett, and Barry (Tina) Rickett; his sisters, Johnnie (Terry) Erwin and Hilda (Charlie) Chadwick; his grandchildren, Mindy Greeson, Allen Garland, Kevin Garland, Kenneth Rickett, and Kayla Rickett; eleven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
